The Bistro at the Bella Vita Community Undergoes Renovation

Bella Vita is a 55 plus apartment community in Aurora, Colorado, that is known for its active residents and location that is just a short drive or walk away from grocery stores, department stores, and restaurants. Tucked into the quiet Village East neighborhood, Bella Vita boasts secure, low-maintenance, active retirement living for residents. Residents of the community enjoy amenities that make everyday living simpler, including valet trash service, an in-apartment washer/dryer, cable with high-speed internet service and bi-weekly housekeeping. Bella Vita is very excited to announce that our community is undergoing a renovation for residents and future residents to enjoy our community for years to come.

Among the features at Bella Vita that our residents love is the Bistro, which offers residents a place to read, dine, grab a beverage, hang out with friends, and even celebrate birthdays and other events. Considered the center of the community and used by residents on a daily basis, the Bistro is undergoing a major renovation.

Shawn Paulsen, Bella Vita’s community director, says that residents are excited to see updates to the space as this project has been in the works for some time. Shawn goes on to explain that Bistro services will be primarily impacted by the renovations. More countertop and cabinet space will allow for better food and beverage service for events in a more comfortable setting than our conference rooms. The flooring installations will be functional and aesthetic improvements.

“The bistro not only serves as a place to get refreshments and hold events for our residents, but it is the central gathering place for our community to catch up on daily events and get to know one another,” Shawn explains. “We really look forward to its completion and holding our grand opening party!”

The Specifics of the Renovation

The updated Bistro will get a complete overhaul, including new furniture, flooring, tile, wallcovering, and finishings. An entirely new color schedule is planned to reflect Belle Vita, an innovative and progressive community. Tones are calming and muted but fresh and modern at the same time. Furniture was chosen with comfort and functionality in mind. The goal is to create an entertainment place where residents can gather with each other as well as with family and friends. A welcoming atmosphere goes along with our welcoming community, and the updated space will reflect this.

The timeline for completion of the renovation is currently unknown, according to Shawn, because of delays due to the current supply-chain issues across the country. “Everyone is very excited to see the updated space, but unfortunately, we’ll just have to be patient. But we are confident that everyone will agree that it is worth the wait!”
