Bella Vita’s New Partnership with Dispatch Health

Anyone who has visited the ER knows what an ordeal it can be – often a long wait with a room full of strangers, many of them in distress. To make matters worse, many times a visit to the ER could have been prevented if a patient could have seen a medical professional instead. Now imagine you are an older adult. Rather than the upheaval of a trip to the ER, you have the option to be treated in your own home.

Bella Vita is proud to partner with Dispatch Health, just such a service. Their team was recently onsite to provide more information to residents about their services and mission.

Dispatch Health is a local company whose mission is to provide on-demand healthcare in the convenience of your home. Staffed by ER-trained nurse practitioners and EMTs, they dispatch to a resident’s front door, equipped with all the necessary tools to provide advanced medical care in the comfort of their home. While their nurse practitioners and EMTs are on the ground, they are supported from supervising doctors who are available at all times for phone consultations. They are contracted with all major payers in Colorado and bill insurance directly for the care provided. They operate 7 days a week, including holidays, from 9am – 9pm.

One resident from a community similar to Bella Vita shared her personal experience. She had a severe earache that was causing dizziness and nausea. Dispatch was called and an EMT made the visit. The resident said, “She was knowledgeable and had everything necessary to determine the cause of my pain and to successfully treat it. Her kindness put me at ease, and she called the next day to check on me. What a wonderful service.”
